I had some Rice Dream for dessert.
It was certainly a good experience, but I'm not very often in the mood for ratatouille, so I don't know if I would go back there again.

Welcome to my world of running, life, and all things Disney :) |
My Virginia runner-friend, Leanne made reservations for Be Our Guest for the night after the 5k. After going on the Haunted Mansion and It's a Small World, we met up and got to check out this new restaurant. The rooms are pretty over the top, with awesome chandeliers and details. We sat in the main dining room, but also got to check out the other rooms. I ordered the only thing on the menu that I could have - the Ratatouille with no mushrooms. It came on top of quinoa. It was good, but not amazing. But then again, I'm not a fan of tomatoes like that. It cost $17.

This review is from Madre and Marty eating at lunch, as I will not be eating at this restaurant until January when I am running Dopey! Be Our Guest Restaurant at the Magic Kingdom was great. Ordering is all by computer, like at the Captain Cook quick-serve at the Polynesian. Food is delivered to your table on a cart under glass. The décor and ambience are excellent. The food was also fantastic. It would be fun to eat there in the evening for a full service experience, but reservations are impossible. The restaurant opens at 10:30 a.m. and by 10:00 the line is already a 30-minute wait from the time they actually open. The wait time is usually 40 minutes during the rest of the lunch service. |
