The Grand Floridian was all decked out for the holidays. They had an entire gingerbread house! Inside the house was a mini-gift shop that sold gingerbread treats!

Disney World!!! Yay!! We went around looking at some holiday decorations at some of the Disney Resorts. Everything was very festive. Here is me and Nathan at Shades of Green: Shades of Green also had a festive wreath display where each department of the hotel decorated a wreath and we had to vote for our favorite. Next we went to the Wilderness Lodge. I have never been here before and it was pretty neat. There was a handbell choir performing and everything. The tree: At the Polynesian they had Gingerbread houses on display. Each department of the hotel decorated one :) All in all it was a very festive night looking at some decorations :) I would highly recommend taking a tour of the Resorts to see how they decorate for the holidays!
Let me tell you - Chef TJ is WONDERFUL!!!!! We went to 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian our Christmas Celebration buffet. Chef TJ took us around and told us what we could eat that is gluten-free and vegan. This is what we could eat off of the buffet: Chef TJ then brought us out a multi-course, specially prepared meal. Here was our appetizer: a trio of salads. Our main course was absolutely delicious. It was chunks of tofu (that I let Nathan eat) with vegetables and crunchy rice noodles. This plate was huge! We shared, and still could barely finish the food. Now, for dessert, he made us each a tower of treats. Doesn't that look amazing!? Chef TJ was very accommodating, and very eager to make us a delicious meal. I HIGHLY recommend eating where ever he is a chef. I know he changes restaurants occasionally, so I can't guarantee it will always be 1900 Park Fare.
Christmas at Epcot is a fun time. Not only is the park decorated, each of the countries has a storyteller, which explains the holiday customs in that country. It is fun to go around and learn a little more about the world.
We ate at Coral Reef as part of the Candlelight Processional Package. The Chef made me a special vegetarian dish of rice and vegetables in a delicious sauce. The menu may not necessarily have a vegan dish, but usually the chef can make something pretty good out of ingredients that they have.
This race, Run with Santa, was on December 9, 2012. A bunch of teachers from my school did this race, but I wanted to run it fast, so I went ahead of them. A lot of people were festively dressed, which makes me happy. Though, I was one of the best (of course). This was a flat and fast course and I ran in 31:11, which is a PR for me! This was a fun and festive race that I would like to do again if I had the time!
